Thoughts On Ascension.

Greetings, It is I, Kwan Yin.

I have come to give you my blessing and to talk with you about this process called Ascension. I would have you know that to attempt this is most audacious in the sense that it is beyond what your usual reasoning gives you. It is here that you must be brave. It is in this endeavor that you will be going past the usual descriptions of your reality. It is not that you will be lost, but, rather, that you will be moving outside your concept of yourself. It has been very secure to you, even if you do not care for it. Now you will be called to Love it to its extinction. You will need to begin Loving yourself, your sense of being, more that you want to cling to your description of yourself.

Most of the confusion in your existence is around misunderstanding who you really are. With a decision to undergo the Ascension Process you will soon find out where you cling and under what restraints you have lived. It will be as if your mother suddenly walked into your room and said that you will be leaving in twenty minutes and will not be returning to this house again. She says that we must leave immediately to a bigger more wonderful house, and, therefore do not take anything. You are simultaneously afraid and excited. You look around your room and all its old and familiar things. You argue and plead with her to take this or that. She merely tells you no, that the new home has everything and more. Thus is the way of Ascension. Only now the room and things in the room are your concept of yourself and the things in your life you are attached to.

It is "Leave your nets and follow me." We all first squirm under this kind of dictum. We quail under its finality. We argue to stay and play in our old haunts. This is the first major challenge to the Ascension process. Thinking about what the new place is going to be like, thinking about the wonders of Ascended life is great. It is a fun fantasy, but when the time comes, we are hit with the reality of what has been undertaken. We want to cut out our old room and take it with us. Like so many things we have experienced, there is a kind of fantasy about it until we actually get in the car and leave. Even if we know it is coming and we must prepare to go, it still carries a sense of the unreal. This is an understanding I want to share with you now. To Ascend you will be required to let go of your room. It is this room and all its things which have kept you preoccupied and separated from your true Being and your True relationship with the Wholeness you participate in, unaware. It is in this way that you will have to be brave. It will seem as if you will be giving up all that you cherish, while in truth, you give up only your narrow concept of what you believe is life. Ascension is a process which raises you beyond your concepts and places you in the Reality of who you are. In many ways, it is the uncovering of your true Self which you had buried under all the things in your little room. I want you to know that this will be both difficult and exhilarating in its challenge and that the results are profound beyond measure. While it is a fun thing to consider your Ascension, it is an audacious thing to actually undertake the process! I want you to know that I and my Brother and Sister Ascended Ones salute you in your "audacious-ness" and extend our Love and Support in this undertaking.
